The Human Resources Coordinator's primary purpose is the direct the human resources department in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as directed by the Administrator, to assure that quality personnel are interviewed, trained and employed.
Human Resources Coordinator Essential Job Functions:
Processes payroll per scheduled close-out periods and answers payroll related questions.
Assists in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing the HR department (e.
g.
, developing HR policy manuals, employee job descriptions, performance evaluations, etc.
) Maintains written job descriptions and performance evaluations for each staff position in accordance with pertinent laws governing job positions.
Reviews all requests from department directors for new or replacements personnel, fills requests as approved, and arranges interviews, appointments, etc.
Assists in determining departmental staffing, evaluates employee performances and makes recommendations to the administrator's concerning wage and salary adjustments, hiring, terminations, transfers, etc.
Maintains job applications for personnel eligible to work in the facility.
Consults with department directors concerning the staffing of their departments.
Prepares, recommends, and maintains records and procedures for controlling personnel transactions and reporting personnel data.
Ensures that the facility is in compliance with current applicable federal and state employment regulations regarding wages, overtime, work hours, workman's/unemployment compensation, etc.
Performs administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc.
, and submits to the Administrator as required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration preferred but not required.
Must have, as a minimum, five (5) year(s) experience in HR Administration or comparable supervisory/management experience.
Must possess a thorough knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning personnel administration in nursing care facilities.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
