Experienced designer is seeking help with all things design and gallery related.
Both the design office and gallery shop are located in the North Shore area (Wilmette and Evanston).
Potential assistant will need their own vehicle to run errands related to both the design and gallery business.
This can include moving smaller/medium items between Wilmette storage, picking up completed pillows, frames and other custom products.
Light office work including reordering objects for client and gallery needs, researching items for both businesses.
Some work with owner in storage space- organizing and deciding what accessories to place into gallery space.
A flexible summer schedule would be best- fluctuating between 8-12 hours a week, competitive wages.
Will be trained to ring up sales at gallery for a shift that will run a few hours each week.
Light cleaning and greeting customers required for this aspect of job.
Design students or graduates would be best for the position- use experience to build resume and have interesting work to boot.
Growth available after summer time.
